The Sydney Youth Stamp Group is for young stamp collectors aged from 7 to 17.
It is supported by The Philatelic Association of NSW Inc.(Philas) and the Philatelic Development Council of New South Wales. (PDC)
We welcome beginners to those who are ready to exhibit on a competitive level.
Four workshops a year are held during the school holidays at Philas House 17 Brisbane Street Darlinghurst.
The Sydney Youth Stamp Group workshops allows young stamp collectors to:
- Learn skills such as, how to soak stamps off paper, Identifying stamps, setting out an album page
- See presentations
- Make new friends
- See videos on various stamp topics
- Do fun quizzes and games to test your knowledge
- Listen to guest speakers
- Swap stamps
AND MUCH MORE
Parents please note that full adult supervision is provided at the workshops and that they themselves are most welcome to attend and participate.
PROGRAMME
- Arrive between 10am to 10.20am for Registration
- 10.30am Programme starts (children are divided into two groups, Juniors 7 to 10 years and Seniors 11 to 17 years)
- Half an hour for lunch which is provided (sandwiches) or you can provide your own
- 3.00pm finish.

- Post or fax the form to Sydney Youth Stamp Group Coordinator, details are on the form and the contact page.
- When we receive your form, the Coordinator will send you an email confirming your booking and items to bring to the workshop.
